Dr. George Karamanokian 


Affectionately referred to as Dr. George by his staff and patients, Dr. Karamanokian has been practicing dentistry since 1988 and in Ottawa since 1994 where he joined Bayshore Dental Centre. In 2001, he moved his practice to Kanata Lakes where he is also a resident of the same neighbourhood.

Taking pride in his extensive continuing education with most of the pioneers in dentistry within North America, he provides his patients with the most advanced techniques and expertise in Dentistry. Dr. George is proud to be one of the first certified and experienced general practitioners for Invisalign, the newest technology to straighten teeth without wires or braces.

Dr. Karamanokian is a member in good standing with the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Mid American Orthodontics Society, Royal College of Dental Surgeons and the Ottawa Dental Society.

Dr. George is a true sports fan, he enjoys watching all sports and spending time with his lovely wife and two beautiful children.

Dr. John Lau 


John Lau moved to Ottawa from Edmonton, where he grew up. He attended the University of Alberta. Beginning with an interest in biofeedback mechanisms, he pursued a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Honours Psychology. Subsequently, Dr. Lau was accepted into the University of Alberta's Faculty of Dentistry. He graduated in 1992 at the age of 25.

After being conferred his DDS, Dr. Lau decided to move to Ottawa. Always keen on traveling, he was enthusiastic about living in the nation's capital, and being able to explore the metropolitan areas around the city.

Dr. Lau is a certified Invisalign provider (invisible braces). He is a part-time faculty member at Algonquin College school of Dental Hygiene since 1995.

Dr. Lau has been appointed as a committee member at the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (2005-2007) and is looking forward to serving both his profession and the community.

He is a member in good standing with the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Ottawa Dental Society.
